Tŷ Hafan is a Welsh charity that provides holistic palliative care for children who have life-limiting conditions. They also provide support to the children’s families. The company was established in 1999 and now celebrates its 15th year helping families throughout Wales.
I recently worked for a marketing company whos client, Tŷ Hafan, asked if I would create a pitch card or print design, which was based on existing corporate guidelines and typefaces, which in turn sales representatives would then use the pitch card to promote and fund raise donations for the company. The final item was an A4 back to back full colour pitch card. It took me about a week to create the final design, which had to be approved by the marketing department of Ty Hafan. The pitch card was printed in-house, 200 in total and then sent to a number of marketing companies representing Tŷ Hafan. The main programs and siftware used to creat the pitch cards were CS6 InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Photographs were the companies own photos. Content was also provided by the client representative and proofed before sending to me before creating the print design.
